Many AI services require content to be uploaded and processed within provider-operated infrastructure. For sensitive evidence, this introduces another environment, another provider and another set of controls covering access, retention, jurisdiction and model training.
Dekko Edge AI runs supported models on authorized devices and processes content locally. Case content is not sent to a third-party AI provider. Results remain connected to the case and protected by DekkoSecure’s zero-knowledge architecture and existing case permissions.

Sound detection

AI activity recorded in immutable audit trails
AI-assisted activity remains traceable within the case. Actions such as creating, viewing, editing and exporting transcripts, as well as renaming speakers, are recorded in the source file’s immutable audit trail.
Each event captures the date, time, user and action performed, providing a clear record of how AI-generated outputs were reviewed and used. Audit trails can be viewed or exported to support oversight, disclosure and chain-of-custody requirements.
For AI workloads that require more processing power
Some AI workloads require more computing power than a user device can provide. DekkoSecure Confidential AI processes these workloads within a hardware-isolated, encrypted environment designed to prevent access by the infrastructure provider and DekkoSecure personnel.
The capability currently supports plain-English queries across case records. Users can locate cases, files and activity within a single case or across multiple cases without exposing queries or underlying content to a third-party AI provider. Matching records are returned for review.
Future capabilities are expected to include content-level queries, such as object searches across images and video.
